Whether you're new to all this jargon or just need a refresher course, this has most of what you'll need and probably a lot that you won't. Some of this is also site-specific to Edges of the World. If you think there's something that should be added, PM Vitalny about it!

Godmoding: Making your character all-powerful, all-knowing, or otherwise perfect and/or invincible. (Note: normally, a character like Rhys would be considered godmoding. However, for the sake of the plot, we're excepting that.)

I
Illiterate: Roleplaying using chatspeak and usually having little originality or plot.
Imitating: Pretending to be another player/member, in the chatbox or otherwise.

L
Literate: Using good grammar, spelling correctly, and having knowledge of punctuation. Also extends to having some depth and quality to posts.

Powerplaying: Attempting to control or manipulate other peoples' characters by saying that the other character did something that it may not have. This happens a lot in battle.
Example:
Powerplaying: "Wolf 1 leapt at wolf 2, pinned him/her down, and broke his/her leg"
Not powerplaying: "Wolf 1 leapt at wolf 2, hoping to pin him/her down and going for his/her leg." Wolf 2's player would then decide whether or not the hit landed.

Semi-Lit: Using decent spelling and acceptable grammar, but lacking depth and sometimes clarity to writing.
Spamming: Repeatedly posting the same message, especially in the chatbox; posting entries that have no relevance or flood the chatbox/thread; using multiples of punctuation/characters/smilies to an excessive degree especially in the chatbox. As you can see, spamming has a fairly broad definition, but most of it falls under the category of not acting histrionic.
