Bleached padders lead the vix onto her new territory. She didn't know if there were any other lupine here, but she would soon find out when her call goes up. She wasn't going to do anything just yet, she would wait a few minutes for that. For now though, she went around the lands looking for a place to call her pack. Her Pack, that felt weird for her to think.
The regal looks around then settles on walking toward one for the many springs. She goes and lowers her haunches to the ground. She looks around her new lands, she had already been to the other areas of it, this was her last stop, and would be the meeting grounds for now. She was in control of what she has heard to be the most railed pack around.
She chuckles at the thought. Now she shall send out her lovely call. Her maw parted and her dome rose as her song filled the air. She was calling, and knew that her members would answer quickly, and show up soon enough. Once her song was finished, she lowered her dome and she looks around. Now I must wait. She didn't mind really.
The damsel did get up though, she started to walk around then and she looked at the lands around her. She started to take a mental map of the area so she knew what was here and she knew where to go if anything was to ever happen. The vix covered all of the exiting areas and all of the areas that the neighboring packs could come to. She nods to herself every now and then.
Once she had the whole pack lands here memorized, she The fea goes back to the spring and lowers her dome into the sweet aqua. She lets her ribbon lap up the water and she looks around. She smelt the prey out here and she wasn't hungry, so she left it alone. She then lowers to her haunches and waits right there for her pack t come and greet their new alpha.

Mockingbird's ears pricked upright as she was startled from a light sleep in a patch of sunny grass. A long call echoed across the Storm Pack territory. The Alpha, and by the sounds of it, the Alpha Female. The second vixen in the area tossed back her head and let out a medium-pitched howl. One filled with deep sorrow and yet, somehow filled with ferocity at the same time. She pushed herself up and cantered swiftly towards the ravine. Slowing to a liesurely walk once the other wolf was in sight, she stepped forward and said in a low, guarded voice, "I am assuming you are the Alpha."
She paused, but only for a moment, not even enough time to get a straight answer in. "My name is Mockingbird. I am your Beta." Her voice was filled with a regal pride, but the regality in it would undoubtedly be less than what her Alpha's held. She blinked, taking the new wolf in. She hid a look of surprise. Never, in her years as a member of a pack, had she seen an Alpha this small. But small size meant great speed, which often was a blessing in battle. From what she had seen so far, she approved of the new Alpha. Not that she was someone who would have the right to approve in the first place. She sat down, her tail wrapped around her feet and gazed calmly and without emotion at this vixen.

Her harks perked up as she heard another call. A small sly grin reached her facade. So there are others. Lets see how many. She doesn't look, instead she allows the other vix to come over. When the vixen showed up next to the regal, she stands and looks at her. The other vix's guarded vocals were heard.
"I am assuming you are the Alpha."
The most Mystic was able to get in was a nod. She growled lowly at the lack of pausing. She hated that and she was not going to stand for is already in her new found life. "My name is Mockingbird. I am your Beta." She nods once more and her own emotionless and guarded vocals erupted from her. Well Mockingbird, I am you Alpha and my name is MysticMoon. Her vocals held her rank higher than Mockingbird's will for probably a long while. Ice azul optics notice the vix look her down. She knew that Mockingbird was taking in her small size. That she may do, but I wont stand for disrespect if she gives me any on my size. Mystic was pretty typical when it came to her size being brought into an argument or someone going around and talking shit about her because of her size. Bleached haunches fell back to the ground as she looks at her Beta fea. Have you seen any others who might be a possible pack member for us? She asked her Beta. Yep, she was going to have to get used to having a second and being able to call on someone. The calling on someone might come in more handy than being alone though. The vixen looks at Mockingbird once more before looking out to the lands and hoping to see another.

"No one has dared tread paw on these lands for many a moon, for our last Alpha taught them better." Mockingbird replied smoothly, she had ignored the growl that burst forth from the smaller, though more highly ranked wolf's maw. She blinked slowly, her eyes never leaving the Alpha's face. The Storm Pack members were often not to be trusted. You could be betrayed and even killed if you dared to let your trust fall in the paws of another wolf, or so she had seen in her years with the pack.
Her ears perked as a crack of a breaking twig sounded and her head snapped in the direction it came from, a hare bounding through the forest had caused the ruckus. Nay, she wasn't embarassed. It meant she never let her guard down, which, in her mind, was a very good thing.

Ooc: Amazing, was your character accepted? If she/he is then you are...but no one had joined yet so I was just speaking in context.

ooc; i really like having people call me amazing. this username was a good idea. teehee
bic; And after that hare was none other than Razzy.
She'd been chasing it for some time, always catching up but letting it go again, like a cat playing with a mouse. There really wasn't much to do. She already had stockpiled some meat beneath the dirt all around their territory, and didn't really like bothering the beta. The little bird wasn't a good sport about it.
But now, here she was, in front of the new alpha, having answered the howl's request in her own time. She was a little thing, wasn't she? If Raz had to bow to her, would her own head still be higher than this midget's? How on earth could the tiny girl have defeated the last alpha? Maybe it was a fluke. Eh, either way didn't matter, Razzy didn't care.
A giant in comparison, the messy grey wolf watched the rabbit she'd been chasing run off to safety before walking up to her new leader. Her approach was rather carefree in comparison to the uptight vibe she was getting from the other girls, who's stiff presence was the total opposite of her loose, relaxed one. With overdone relish, Razzy bowed to her superiors, touching her nose to the ground, outstretching her long front legs, and pushing her tail end in the air, slathering on the theatrics. "My dear beta, and I assume my beloved alpha, I am Razzy, your most humble servant." She flicked her tail for show, and continued, "I will work my hardest to provide only the most exquisite delicacies for you." A smirk worked it's way into her expression, though not one of disrespect. Rather, she was making herself laugh with her own act, and was trying not to break character- which was really, really hard.

Mockingbird arched a brow at the new wolf and shook her head slightly. The over-dramatic theatrical elements would make for an interesting conversation. But she had a feeling this new Alphess would grow tired of them soon. Mockingbird may not be leniant, but Mysticmoon seemed even less so.
She gave a brief and sharp nod, "A hunter then, I presume?" Then added after a moments forethought, "And I would suggest you lower the theatrics. Some wolves here would presume that to be rather disrespectful. I will be lenient, as you are one of the few wolves to answer our new Alpha's call, but consider yourself warned." She wasn't meaning to be overly harsh, but holding a position higher than most, whether it was Beta, Alpha or anything else required a certain amount of cold attitude, lest you be unseated from your rank for lack of such behaviour. Very few mistakes were forgiven, as she had learned, and she had learned to refrain from making them as much as possible.

occ; sorry had to celebrate a birthday bic; The vixen looks at Mockingbird and she nods her dome. That is good and bad. She said aloud. She looks over at the direction of the hare and she shakes her dome. She looks around then and she stops her gaze back on her beta. She waited to hear any other news, but that was stopped when her nades caught the scent of another vix.
Wont any brutes come into the terrain? She wondered as she rose when the vix showed herself. She was really hating the idea of only feas in the lands, but she would get over it. The pack would go on and live, in fact, she has heard of packs that were feminine only and they survived better than the mixed packs. She mentally shrugged it off.
Her gaze flighted to the new vix in front of her and she snorts at the theatrical act. She shakes her dome and lets Mockingbird talk first. She listen to the two vixens converse and she waits. Soon she shall admit her own knowings into the conversation before her. She did catch the hunter's look at her. Yet another judgment against my size, that will stop as soon as all the members show.
She though to herself softly. her thoughts disappeared as the two stopped talking. She looks at the hunter and she nods. I am MysticMoon your new alpha. There are a few things to drop, the theatrical act and the down grading me because of my size. She told the new vixen right away. She didn't remember if she told Mockingbird or not, but if she didn't, well now she knew as well. Her vocals echoed a bit and she waits for an answer from either vixen to her demand. A thought echoed through Mockingbird's mind, something along the lines of 'I knew that would be what she would say.' She cast a sideways glance at MysticMoon then said to her, "If you made Alpha, then there will be no down-grading, just because you're not an ugly, scarred brute that towers over us all. Most of us know better." She put the emphasis upon the word 'most' to make sure that the hunter would know where her loyalties should lie...and when to speak her mind. Or show emotion for that matter. Then, she dared to ask, "You have just come to our pack, if I do recall rightly, no?" She watched for any sudden change of emotion that would foreshadow an attack from the new Alpha, sometimes, such questions were not tolerated. But she did not apologize, for there was no reason to...yet.

Oh, shut up, you little twit. I was only trying to make a joke, but you act like you've got a stick shoved in your rear.
That's what she wanted to say. But she's not a complete idiot.
Instead, Raz straightened up to her full height, still smiling. Alright, she'd make this a game then. She'd get one of them to laugh eventually, or at least play along- thought it looked tough. Might be a while. She nodded to the one named after the bird, affirming her assumption that Raz was, in fact, a hunter. "I was working on a song and dance for later, but I suppose I could put my acting career behind me, since you asked so kindly, m'lady." That touch of good-natured drama, the wolf-equivalent of broadway still lingered in her voice. She laid the "good nature" part on extra thick though, just in case.
As for the little one- being so tiny was good. It made you cute. Guys liked that. But she could see that the Napoleon complex had already settled in, so Raz didn't prod. "Nah, miss, of course not," she replied, lowering her head a little to shave a few inches off her own height. That cutting little comment from the bird was a little unnecessary though, Raz thought. It wasn't like she planned on mutiny or anything because the new alpha's a shrimp.

Mockingbird's lips thinned out but she restrained a biting remark. She would not let her temper get the best of her, after all, an angry wolf could often be less frightening than one with an extraordinarily cold calmness about her. She had learned the ways of danger, and the ways of keeping the wolves above and beneath her on her side, and she was not about to forget those lessons drilled so heavily into her mind.
Nay, she would not laugh. She would not play along. She reminded herself of her mantra, over and over, "I am my own master, and I am stone." When she was younger, many would call her 'The Lump' because she very rarely showed emotion. Nothing would stand in her way of keeping to that mantra, especially not a hunter. No matter how humourous her actions may or may not be.
Ooc: Sorry, I spell like a Brit. If it's hard to decipher, I'll attempt to keep that part of my spelling down...

Ivory pads lead the vix toward her new homelands. She had been following the scent of her sister for days now adn she thinks she has finally found her. The vixen stops near a group by the springs when she does arrive. There you are sister dear, my, how you have made yourself and Alpha and known here is good. Eclipse, as she was known for her ivory peltage and optics, made her way toward the small group. She stops near the newest member she guessed. The vix was big, but not as bug as Eclipse.
Eclipse has been told that she took Mystic's size when they started growing up. She shrugged that off and looks at them. Hello Mystic, I trust you are well. She told her sister. She did a slight bow and looked at the other lupine. She would wait for one of them to tell her to show some respect, but sooner of later, one would find out the true extent of MysticMoon's dear little family. How will Mystic Take the news of the brothers might be joining as well? That there will be a question for later. For now, she awaits her answer and her attacks from the other two.

Dome nods as she looked at the newest vixen. She held no emotion in her facade or vocals now. Your name is what? She said to the hunter. She needed a name so she could get used to calling her that, and not hunter. Her mind chuckled with that and she looks back to Mockingbird. Her vocals wanted to snap at her but she held it back.
Yes I am new to the pack. why do you ask? She questioned her beta quickly. If something was about to come of this, let it, she shall deal with it easily and the way she was taught and trained. The vix stares her beta down until a familiar scent rolls onto the terrain. Her gaze shifts over to the pure ivory damsel and she nods. Ahh Eclipse, what a joyous site... She thought the herself.
Now her family was coming to invade her happy life, just wonderful. Mystic nods back to the blood sharing fea and she looks at her. I am well Eclipse. How are you and the brothers? She asked less then enthusiastically. She could really care less, but if they came to invade, then they came to invade. She would not stop them at all.
Her family consisted of herself, the eldest and smallest, Dark Night, the second, Eclipse, the third and largest of them all, and Timber, the nicest of them all and the last pup. Yes, Timber was the nicest and Dark Night was the second nicest, but Mystic and Eclipse were the rudest and the ones with the short temper.
Mystic's gaze went from her blood to the others. When would someone say something to her darling sister, she shall never know, but it will be interesting to see her sister, who could not block her emotions at all, get pissed off, that will be a good show. She looks at the group and she lowers her whole bod to the ground and she watches them carefully. The only one she really trusted was Eclipse, and that is only because they grew up together.
If one of the other vix's were to try something, Eclipse would get one and Mystic would get the other. There will be no stopping them either, and when Mystic gets pissed off, you might as well leave her alone for a few hours, even days. The lady though lowered her dome to her pads and she watches them all, for any reactions to her laying down, or any reactions to the semi-friendliness between herself and Eclipse.

"Why do I ask? Curiosity. Not many newcomers claim the Alpha position immediately. Not many newcomers enjoy the harshness of our pack. But...there is an exception to every rule, isn't there?" Mockingbird said smoothly, not wishing to ruffle any pelts with her question. Her gaze flickered over to Eclipse and she nodded, but stayed silent. Familial discord was most definitely not her area of expertise, and it seemed that there was a great amount of it between Eclipse and her sister, MysticMoon.
"I mean no disrespect when saying this, but do not misjudge my attempts to get to know my Alpha now. After all, it is courteous to do, or am I sorely mistaken?" Mockingbird added after a moment's thought, then she froze and her ears pricked straight up as she caught a scent that was not unfamiliar to her. So Raynemaker had returned. A growl rumbled from her chest and her ears flattened against her skull lightly. A cold, treacherous wolf that was not to be trusted, one that had tried to undermine her once, and she did not doubt that he would try it again.
Raynemaker padded through the forest, towards where he assumed the pack was meeting. A feral grin spread across his face as he imagined Mockingbird's reaction when she caught his scent. He reached the clearing and padded up to Mockignbird and the new Alphess. He grinned jokingly and bowed low to the Beta, "Hello again, O Wondrous Beta. I hope life has served you well." Then he turned to the Alpha and said very seriously, "Welcome, it is a pleasure to finally meet our new leader. I am Raynemaker, a hunter of The Storm Pack."
Mockingbird bristled and growled loudly, cuffing his ear, "You are to show some respect, or I will do what happened last time, only the ending will not be so merciful. I doubt this new Alpha will hold me back, unlike our last one. Who was weak." She spat the last word and glared at him, but he didn't reply.
